Good Morning Everyone! Due to an overwhelming amount of inquiries to postpone the games this Saturday, May 29th as well as the extremely high chance for rain, we have decided that there will be no hockey this Saturday. Everyone please enjoy your long weekend with family and friends. The schedule will simply shift a week to the right again, so that games that were scheduled for this Saturday ( May 29th) will be played on June 5th instead. Please keep an eye on the News Feed and your emails as we will be releasing an updated schedule with current dates as well as the playoff game schedule within the next week or so.

That being said, there are a few other issues that we would like to address. Due to the opening of the pool as well as the increased traffic from the soccer season, the city has requested that all hockey traffic being parking in the medical building parking lot ( Allergy & Asthma Center of Fredericksburg) that is just South of the Dixon Park entrance (see the map below). We apologize upfront for any inconvenience this may cause. Anticipate this being the new normal until pool season ends in the fall.

Also, concerning the pool, the city has asked us to pass to our hockey families that the pool restrooms are for pool patrons only. The restroom for the hockey rink is the porta-potty located down the service drive on the side of the rink. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. FYRH is at the mercy of Parks and Recreation and must comply with their requests in order to keep operating. Please help us out by doing what you can to follow their wishes to minimize further issues.
